Having concluded a period of consultation with staff at The Albero restaurant, a decision has been made to close the restaurant from today (9 May, 2012). The decision to close was based on concerns over its financial position and future viability. We are very proud of what has been achieved at The Albero and we are grateful for the support of our loyal customers who have been highly complimentary about the standard of food and service that the restaurant has delivered since it opened in October 2010. The Albero has been operating in the midst of a nationwide downturn and its failure to generate sufficient income is no reflection on the staff who have worked very hard in difficult circumstances to deliver an excellent dining experience.
